They'll just priority 1 or 2 a car to replace it. Not a big deal.

AHHHHHHHH, dude, sense of humor!!! Jokes! I know Ford will put it to the head of the line and the dealer will give the guy or gal alot of freebies for the issue. You stink the fun out of everything. So sad. :bang:

Brings back memories of when some old woman turned left in front of my husband in my black 2000 Mustang that I hadn't even made my first payment on. I was sick to my stomach for weeks & this picture gives me the same feeling. So does the girl in the picture with the tuct tape.

Sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet. I thought you were serious ... some people don't know that ford can do things to replace cars damaged in shipment to get a new car almost immediately.

Not to mention I wasn't really even replying to you, but to zepplin.

Yea, the "accelerator stuck" thing has got to be bogus. How would uncontrollalble forward motion result in a damaged flank?

If that car belongs to someone, they will be getting it back, that car is not totaled, a few weeks in the shop and it will be back on the road.
New wrecked car + Shop repaired car = No longer a brand new car!

Seems like my own experience, every new car or truck I have ever
owned, big target bullseyes painted/taped onto the vehicle! "Here I am, new vehicle, come hit me! (Guess I should have ordered/specified new
vehicle Bullseye delete!)

I'd like the real story on this one. A month after buying my Stang somebody dinged my door. I know it was a blue truck with that rubber siding crap on it. They had to have thrown thier door open because thier was blue paint and rubber on my door. The ding wasn't to big though.

Unhappy

Seeing these pictures probably cause my nightmare last night ... I ordered my GT in that same color & options... Imagined my car was delivered and suspected I received that car above after they repaired it -some sort of squeak around the drivers door that several dealers could not duplicate  ... anyway, all of a sudden a bunch of Mustangs started showing up on the news running into stores, houses, poles, etc. due to some defect...

Is there any way that a manufacturer could make cars with a tamper-proof device that would limit the speed to 5mph until the customer took delivery? It would give me a warm and fuzzy feeling if I bought a new car and had to open the hood to pull a handle out (like a grenade pin) that was impossible to be re-inserted. If you buy a car with the handle pulled, you've got a used/demo car.

Some of the handheld tuners have a "Valet" feature that enables you to load this tune that will, in a sense, cripple the car and limit the revs and speed when you turn it over to the parking attendant.

Ok so let's all remember, gas pedal stuck means move shifter to Neutral.
