Just read on another forum that the FIRST GT off the production line was given to a 17 year old kid and he promptly wrapped it around a tree. :bang: Can anybody prove this wrong? Color was silver. Looking for production dates and such for the GT but cant find anything.

i think the first gt off the line was red. but, there was a black or a blue that was totaled out in like the first week of release.

 

GT or Mustang GT? Of course we know the first Mustang GT (other than Jay Leno and what not) went to a member of this board I believe. It was white with blue stripes and it's in Germany now. Ah yes, here it is.
