I have been on the forums for quite a while now, and have been obsessing about the new Mustang since I saw the concept at the Chicago auto show years ago. I've been trying to hold out, partially because the dealers in the Chicagoland have very poor allocation of GTs, and also because they seem to want sticker or above, even after a year on the market. I've looked at other alternatives but they are a lot more expensive, and just not what I want.

After seeing quite a few positive posts with ISELLFORD, I decided to ask him for a quote even though his dealership, Reynolds Ford in East Moline, IL, is about a 140mi. drive for me. He responded quickly with a great price, well below sticker. I finalized the order with him on Saturday via email, and he was even able to order the car from home (because he's the boss ). He is going to take care of my special requests personally, like no dealer sticker and no punks driving the car.

This may seem like a shameless plug, but I am finally happy I found someone (thanks to TMS) trustworthy and willing to give me a good deal. He didn't ask or pay me to post this, but I thought it might help some people on the board who are in the same situation. I'd highly recommend Ed Miller AKA ISELLFORD to anyone within driving distance.

Congrats on the great deal! It's always good to hear about the good dealers out there. It seems like all we ever hear are the horror stories. Way to go ISELLFORD!

Ed didn't ask or pay me to post this either, but you don't have to live within driving distance to order from him. There is this thing called drop shipping. Order from Ed and pay an extra ($150-400) to have it delivered to your nearest Ford dealer. Cheaper than airfair and less hassle. PM ISELLFORD for details.

Plus the look on your local dealer's face (that was trying to charge you over MSRP), when you pick up your car from his dealership is priceless.

Ed, I expect a commission off all sales generated by this post

I will almost most definately be ordering from ISELLFORD when the time comes for my 07 Mustang GT. Very long drive/flight to pick up the car (something like 6-8 hours), but I would want to personally shake his hand for helping out the common man!

The most important part of dealing with Ed is that he guarentees that no PUNKs will be driving the car!!!!! PRICELESS!!!!

I originally ordered my car from another dealer 5/16/05. In late Sept he told me he probably wouldn't get it until June. I needed the car by January.

I called Ed 9/29 car serialized 10/6 built 11/12 and reached the NJ Rail Yard yesterday. I hope to pick it up early this week.

Ed was below sticker and handled my annoying questions and obsessiveness about this car without a complaint. I can't reccommend him highly enough to everyone.

See my signature.

Neil

Wow, I just checked the ERL and I already have a build date of 1-2-06! That's pretty fast considering they close the plant for a week or two for the holidays! I hope they come back and remember how to put my car together!

Holy crap! ERL says my build date is now week of 12-19! That would only be a month after the day I ordered it! Yesssss!!!!

Just checked again lat night - it's also locked in for production, build week of 12-19-05. ETA week of Jan 10, 2006. If I get it that week, it will be less than 2 months since I ordered it! Go Ed!
