If it was the dealer's fault this is the best answer in the topic. Tell the next dealer what happened and they will probably stay up on top of it. Although the wait sucks, it will be that much newer when it comes in All those surveys and complaining is a waste of time. The best way to voice your oppinion is to take your business elsewhere.

The fact is order mistakes are very rare, (especially factory build issues) my guess, they had a car in the order bank very similar to yours. When it came in (near month end) the sales manager is trying to push another deal out the door.
You won't get any compensation either, be patient, I'll bet your car is still on the way.

Can't wait to see the pics!
I had a redfire with the AL IUP and covered every bit of it with Roush Carbon Fiber. Difference was night and day and i realized how much i did not like it;- after i changed it.

just stumbled on this thread- see youre in Jacksonville...suggest calling Carlos Medina ay gary yeomans in Daytona...they have big time allocation, can probably get any combo faster than anyone else...If I'd have had any sense I'd have ordered thru him and had it drop shipped to Ohio, and saved 4 months of grief (first car took 3 months and got smacked up getting it off the hauler...took 2 more months to reorder, Carlos coulda had me one in 4 weeks...DOH!)

It was 9 degrees this morning with the wind chill here in the Mid Atlantic area. As if that wasn't bad enough, on Saturday it was about 60 degrees.

What's worse, still, is two sunday's ago I drove with the top down (it was about 70 and GORGEOUS). 2 days later, it was literally freezing, and the day after that it SNOWED!!

Gotta love that Mid-atlantic weather...as if 100+ degrees for a week at a time wasn't bad enough this past summer (and that doesn't even include the heat indexes that come with that mid-atlantic humidity)

Sounds like Texas this past month, sans the snow.

That's why we pay the "BIG BUCKS" for rent/house payments here in the SF Bay area, because the weather is so good (most of the time).

Last time we had ice storms here in Houston and such cold temps. was in February 1997. Well, once every ten years penance for TX warm weather is not that bad.

Apologies for the Thread Hi-Jack, i second my stand on not settling for a GT Order if it is not the one you had placed.

You were kidding, right? Somebody is getting short changed. This native Floridian had to spend 5 years in Hayward right across the bay from you when I was a teenager and my dad was stationed at NAS Alameda. Though I must admit it was a lot better than the weather farther up at NAS Whidbey Island over on the Puget Sound. We couldn't wait for the old man to retire so we could move back to Florida.

If my memory serves me correctly, you should be in the rainy season right now or did that end in December? Ours ended in November.
