Have any canadian customers tried to call ERL from Canada?

I understand that the Canadian dealer codes are a little different. We have a Letter, and then 4 numbers.

A1234

I understand that there is a slightly different process for accessing the ERL using the canadian dealer codes.

Can anyone help me with the 5 digit code based on the 4 digits?

 

I have had the same issues from Canada, ERL can't find my order but dealer assures me build date week of May23rd.
Dealer window sticker showed an additional digit than the DORA showed.

 

Yeah. The dealer window stickers i've looked at also did the same, but when I called in and spoke to analyst with the 5 digits from sticker window, he didnt recognize it at all. So I think a different digit needs to get stuck in somewhere else.

 

Maybe try a zero in front of it?

I have not been able to get official confirmation, but my understanding is that you cannot get automated updates on Canadian orders.

Canadian dealer codes are a different structure than U.S. ones, and the system cannot "understand" letters.

The third digit of the dealer code on a window sticker should be "0". It is a place holder number inserted to fit the Ford North American system and is not included in the proper dealer code.
