Un-autocool
The divice worked - barely. Instead of hotter than hell, my car was just blistering hot inside. I threw it out.

My brother had a set on his '08 and he was able to crack windows a full inch or 2 (give or take a lil bit) without a single drop coming in. He had an alloy gray and it blended in pretty well. They were also dealer installed so the fit was spot on.

Hope it helps!
I was out of town on business this week, so this is the 1st chance I've had to check this thread.

You might have solved my problem. Looking at the pic in the link they have the guards attached to the paint. I had the other set I bought attached to the molding. Quite possible it was "operator error"

I might give these Ford parts a try.

Thx!

Sure looks like it should mount on the molding in the top pic?

i also needed this auto ventshade before which i checked out online in a car website since my ac was on the fritz for about a week or so. it was too hot to keep the windows closed but on the other hand i'd get wet if i kept it open coz of the drizzles. so it does come in handy.

I have Vent Visor brand deflectors on my Charger, and I'm going to miss them with the Mustang on order. Vent Visor is the in-channel ones, they look okay I guess but the function is fantastic. I really like being able to crack windows open anytime.

I just don't see a way to duplicate those on the Mustang, since it's a frameless window. There's no channel to mount the vent into. I had stick on ones initially, they looked horrible, and when they came off it was a bear to clean up the adhesive left behind.
