i think i might understand the problem with the sideviews, if someone else has already mentioned this then i'm sorry since i might have skipped a few posts.

my brother had a 91 gt and his sideviews were incredibly small, he had to get used to them coming from an suv. they barely stuck out the side of the car. maybe the guys just used to small sideviews and so big ones feel huge to him, about the steering wheel i'm sure he could touch it just fine but..... ya he coulda just moved the seat up or tilt it.

I didn't have any trouble with the seating position or mirrors in the V6 i sat in. Everything felt just right for me.

About the V6 vs 5.0's and 4.6's argument:

I have owned four 5.0 Mustangs ('86, '89, '94, and another '89), and my '97 Cobra (4.6 DOHC) and neither the old Mustang V6 nor the new V6 would ever beat any of them. Not stock anyway. Don't mean to upset anyone. I am sure the new V6 has a nice amount of power for your everyday driver, but don't start "bench racing" based on quoted HP numbers.

I have owned or driven enough Mustangs in my life (including a 4 banger and a couple of V6's) to know that the torque from the Mustang V8's always wins against the V6's. The new V6 has pretty good HP numbers, but the car is a bit heavier and the torque curve doesn't come close to any "old" 5.0 or 4.6 Stangs.

Now, if you want an '05 V6, go for it. But don't pull up next to that old school Fox body 5.0 and start thinking, "He only has 225hp, my V6 has more than that and is newer, so i just know i will win." If you make this mistake, you will most likely end up embaressing yourself.

I hope no one takes this as a flame, because i don't mean it that way. Just wanted to give a little perspective. Take care.
