I am amazed at how great Park Ford has been with me, even though my car was on the "quality" hold, they never gave me a problem about coming around (almost gave me a timecard)... It came in tuesday and they called me, or should I say they emailed me pics of it coming off the trailer and in the lot and said "you might want to call after you check the pics in the lot. Anyway, showed up after closing(he waited for me) and he let me take the car home that night even before paying anything on it. Waxed it and detailed the interior that night and then went back to the dealer on wed. to finish the deal....Got a pretty good rate (3.45) which beat my credit union (4.0) for 3 years. Now today they call me and tell me that they got a better rate from a different bank 3.2 and to come on back if I want to get the rate. That's what I call SERVICE. Also got the Z plan, another PLUS for Park Ford, Tallmadge, Ohio.... Best dealer I ever worked with...Oh Ya, they also gave me a copy of the new commercials (yes the full version)...

 

Good catch! Hope I am as lucky here in Dayton. GT is on order....price to be negotiated once it arrives. Dealer would not do $500 over invoice, but wants to see what the market looks like as these cars hit the area.

 

Gee, I wonder what the market will look like. They could have 20 of them lined up and they'll tell you they are so hot their just preparing for the rush. If you ask me, you're just setting yourself up for a major headache when it gets here.

 

Oh, I'm nervous, alright. But I figure the worst case scenario will be MSRP or take a hike....and with the AQHA $500 discount, it will cost me 27,500 (plus TT&L). If I do it, fine. It'll be winter and it will go into the garage for several months (except for good days). If I'm not happy with "the way things are" , I'll wait til Spring, when the commotion should have died down, and inventories are better everywhere.

 

HarleyBill, what color exterior did you get? Mine's a Torch Red. I got mine in on Tuesday too from Klaben in Kent. I'm glad you got such great service with Park Ford. I know a guy who works there and he offered my X-plan but I told him I already ordered from Klaben in mid-June and I'd be getting A-plan. But those rates you got were awesome! Maybe we could meet up and compare our GTs. Haha.

Wow, by the sound of yours actually, the only thing that's different is that you have the ICAP, and I don't. I just wanted the Dk. Char. leather. Same everything. Why do you have to live so close, we need to space out a little. Kidding. How much you wanna bet ours came on the same truckload? We both got ours this Tuesday.

 

Hey, I got torch red as well. Got the red leather interior with the IUP, basic wheels which still look great on the red and the alarm system. Your right, A & W in KENT, (ha)..... Oh, that's right, they closed for the season. By the way, did Klaben get you a copy of the commercial...If not, maybe we can meet and I can give you a copy that I have made... I'm going to try and download it this coming monday so we will see how it goes...

 

I know, I have pics that have mine being unloaded at the dealer...It had a couple of torch red's, 1 green, 1 dark blue, well I will just post the picture the dealer sent me tomorrow. They said that they had a few more stops in the area. Somebody's front bumper was damaged on the shipment. Hope it wasn't one of yours...

 

We had a Redfire and Torch GT come in, both were ordered. Oh god, I hope it wasn't mine. Mine look perfectly in-tact. What part of the bumper was it? Was it a big crack or smashed in? I'm going to go check that out tomorrow. We could always meet up at Swensons. They're open year-round. Haha. Klaben didn't have the commercial, that would be wonderful if you could burn me a copy.

...with your Shaker 1000, does it have speed compensated volume where when you come to a stop or slow down the music get quieter and when you speed up the volume goes up? I noticed that on mine...made me wonder, and wow the bass is insane!
