I ordered mine because I wanted spoiler delete and a manual. I had three ordered at three different dealerships because I wanted to make sure I got what I wanted for what I wanted to pay. Funny thing is the one that I ended up with was the only one with spoiler delete.

Did both, actually.

I initially ordered my '06 GT Premium 5-speed in Windevil Blue/Parchment/Spoiler Delete/Dark IUP/Interior Upgrade/upgraded 17"s-- but didn't like the color combo-- so I passed (I work for a dealer).

At the end of the '06 model run, the dealer aquired a GT Deluxe 5-speed, Black/Charcoal/Spoiler Delete/Dark IUP/Interior Upgrade that was initially routed to Saleen-- a perfect fit canvas for me to do my mods.
The icing on the cake was FMCCs announcement of 0% for 72 months financing---

I was an owner!

Is that what happened to him? Well maybe the dealer will be able to pay their light bill again...

Knew what I wanted and went to a dealer I've been going to for a few years and have bought from before (same sales guy). Was going to talk on ordering one but they happened to have a CS they way I wanted on the lot....no way I was going to say no to driving the car I wanted the day I saw it.....

not many GTs on the lots with the spoiler delete option. Plus... I wanted a GT premium and didn't want to waste the money on a Shaker 1000. I ordered mine just the way I wanted it... and I have yet to see another one that even looks identical on the outside... let alone the same options all around. This is my 3rd one... I figure it's time I ordered it exaclty as I wanted it.

Took mine off the lot - the only way to get the $1645 off. The salesman I have been dealing with for years did a dealer search and the only car within 600 miles that had the options I wanted happened to be at another dealer in Indianapolis and was a convertible, not a coupe like I thought I wanted. The dealer that had the car would not do a dealer trade, so I eventually went to him and bought it.
So last Monday I traded in my 05 GT Black premium coupe with 28,000 miles for an 07 GT premium convertible. Love it. Torch Red with black top, Automatic, Shaker 1000, IUP, Comfort Group, 18" polished alum wheels. I really wanted the spoiler delete, but as been said numerous times in this thread, impossible to find in dealer stock.
The car I bought was built in late Feb., and was a Job 2 car. It had 13 miles on the odometer so it had not been on the lot long. There was a similar car at another dealer, but it had been on the lot since July 2006 - I did not want one that had been exposed to the elements that long.

I ordered my 2005 Mustang GT on 10/20/04 (when the new Mustangs were just showing up at the dealers).
Back when the cars 1st came out dealers were charging anywhere from $2500 to over $5000 over MSRP. I had an x-plan pin I wanted to use for my new Mustang, but the only way to get x-plan pricing was to order the car.

Another reason I ordered my car is that I wanted specific options and colors (Sonic Blue, interior color didn't matter, but I wanted IUP and Side Airbags on the car), and when the cars were 1st showing up at the dealers it was almost impossible to find exactly what you wanted in dealer inventory, so I ordered my car.

There was nothing on the lots in Oct. 04, and I wanted it so bad. So I pulled the trigger

Ordered in Aug '04 before anyone had any on the lot. Walked into the dealership with my order guide highlighted.

I wanted to order mine, but a great deal came up on a car that was setup the way I liked it so I jumped on it. The only thing I wish it had was the spoiler delete. I've been very satisfied with the car for over 15,000 miles now.
