Convertible top stuck!

So I thought I'd follow up and conclude this story. I had my car back to the dealer this week. They couldn't reproduce the problem. At all. It seems pushing the top closed must have pushed hydraulic fluid thru the pump and cleared whatever was blocking the pump. Who knows. I haven't been able to make it fail since. Oh well something to watch, but happy my top works.

How far down or up was the top when it stuck? How much effort did you have to use to get to hatch? (or did you puch it all the way into the down position?
