If Alloy had been out when I got my 05 I would have went that route. Do you want metallic paint or glossy paint? Black is glossy, Alloy is metallic.

I am a firm believer in Henry Ford's motto:

"you can have any color you want as long as it's black!" (paraphrasing of course...)

I have owed the following black cars:

1974 Mercury Capri
1989 Mustang GT
1998 Mustang GT
2002 Mustang GT Vert

and my current 2005 Mustang GT Vert!

And guess what: My *next* 'Stang will ALSO be BLACK!!! Whoooohoooo!!!!
