Very interesting. I'm kind of surprised they would mess with the formula that is so successful. So many people order/buy the cars with IUP. Sounds kind of like a "ain't broke/don't fix it" kind of thing.
Finie with me though, I wouldn't change a thing about the 05 IUP, personally.
I have the solution! B)

From that press release, it sounds like the darker IUP would be a second choice, and not a replacement.
Although I'm skeptical about the whole thing, since the dark IUP option isn't showing up at "late availability" in the system, but the 64W wheels are.

They're not messing with the formula. The silver IUP isn't going away. They're merely adding another option.

I love the dark IUP. I ordered the IUP to get MyColor, but wasn't crazy about the shiny dash.
So I'll ask the stupid question, anyone have ANY idea when this option will become available. When will it be orderable?
I'm getting my vert in the spring, so I have some time to wait, but don't want to go out too far. If it's not in production by February, I'm going to pass.

I just ordered my 06 GT 'vert last night and the dealer noticed two items he hadn't seen before. They were item 67D - Charcoal Panel and 67L - Satin Panel. He couldn't click on either one of them as they were both unavailable at this time. I would bet a beer that those are the codes for the new darker interior panels. Don't know when they will become available, though. Do ya'll think I'm on-track or off-base?
