From the press release:
Since its dramatic 1964 introduction, Ford Mustang has been the icon of American performance with its bold style, brawny engine and rear-wheel-drive excitement, earning its place as the top-selling sports car for 19 years straight. For 2006, Ford is building on the clean-sheet 2005 design by offering a V-6 "Pony Package," 18-inch wheels on GT models, a pair of new colors and, later in the model year, a darker aluminum interior upgrade option.

Ford can throw in as many IUP options as they want as long as they don;t get rid of the Red leather interior upgrade and MyColour option. I just can;t get nuff of those in the pics. :worship:

Interesting. I wonder when they'll make it available and when we'll see pics of it. I remember reading a post from somemone on this forums saying it was coming and it looks like they were right. Not that I doubted him/her.

I take it that it will be similar in color to the GT 500's?

That's my guess as well--which is fine

I read that other thread and thought "This guy must not know what he's talking about, if it were real I'm sure I would already know about it"
haha oh well, sorry for doubting you, but after all I'm 17 and "know everything"

If the dash looks look like the GT500, I'd be all for it. I just don't want to wait. Now, if they'd have the same red and black seats too, I might just consider it....Naw, I'm just not patient enough!

They should dump the red accent package and make it Red and Black Accent package. Like the GT500, the corvette, the GTO seats.... red bucket and black on the outside

That is exactly what I want, but looks like I will have to do it on my own.
