I say snag a GT500 as well. . .

That's my plan anyway. My girl gets the CS when its paid off and I'll be crusing in a White GT500 with silver stripes, and silver fading strips on the rockers to pay homage to the CS...

Very cool of you and man do they grow up quick. I remember when you posted some of your early vids and pics with your son in them.

That's how I learned, on a nice hill (minus the car on my bumper thank goodness).

Nice video Bill!

Didn't know you can do that through the SCT.

Wow, a good incentive to learn. I think it would be pretty hard to go back to a regular car once you get a taste of something like that.

Indeed, I've read many of TB's posts and watched the videos and thought how great it was that Chris showed such a great interest in dad's (then) new ride.....his pride in winning trophies at car shows, the fun of making his sister jump when the throttle was blipped, laughing out loud as the exhaust set off car alarms in the parking garage. Chris deserved this early drive and I'm sure it was a very proud moment for TB, although I'm sure his heart was in his mouth

Now, as for a replacement, I was hoping for "Taco Bill's How To's - The Next Chapter - The 2011 5.0 Years"

I remember my first car, it was an old 1990 Dodge Shadow. What a piece of crap lol. I learned to drive stick when I was 20. I have not owned a Auto since! Thanks for bringing back the memories

Watching those vids ALMOST makes me want to have a kid now (25 y/o is still to young for me)...but by the time he/she gets old enough to drive my 09 will not be cool anymore! Great vids Bill and congrats Chris! I also agree that he deserved this drive. In almost every vid that Bill has put up Chris has been there helping or just taking part in the festivities!

That's cool and he did very good for his first time.

I actually learned on my dad's twin turbo foxbody (525 to teh rear wheels with the incon kit) which had a mcleod hd clutch and a notchy 3550. I ended up buying the car from him and he put a stock longblock in it and that 89 coupe was my first car and to this day I regret selling it. I did do stupid things at 16 but it didn't take long to realize there's a time and place for everything nor were the street racing laws are stict as today which i'm glad for. I'm sure he'll use his better judgement especially when he see's dad respecting the car.

I was cracking up through the whole video...

...mostly because that's going to be me when I buy my 2011 haha! I wish we had a manual car around for my dad to teach me on. My mom doesn't drive stick so the last manual we had was gotten rid of when I was only 4. A couple buddies in high school taught me, so I know the basics. I've also backed out/pulled in many different manual cars working at the stereo shop last summer, but I've never had an extended lesson or teacher. I'll be teaching myself on my first brand new car haha. If I break it, I fix it.

I have one better than you! One of my high school cars was an 92 Dodge Shadow ES (TURBO) . .. . . As I remember that car could hit 100MPH QUICK. I dont see many of thoughs on the road . . . . .what happened??? did aliens remove them from the streets??? I was out driving my 01 Bullitt last night . . . .. . . . but has anyone in California noticed Priuses are over populating the streets???? Hopefully theses Priuses will meet the same fate as all thoughs Dodge Shadows!
