I am taking mine in tomorrow for this exact issue. I will update with the results. I consider it a safety issues since now the floor mat slides up under the pedals.

I took it to the dealer and they did not even give me a hassle. The carpet is on order and will be here next week, but it is covered under warranty. I will post a pic of my tear tomorrow so you guys can compare. Mileage is 15k+

The dealer here basically told me it was a warranty issue, but not their responsibility; they recommend I take it back to the dealer I purchased it at. Of 4 problems with my car, they will only fix the front end popping issue. Told me they really weren't required to fix any of the other warranty issues, although they did put on a ticket that all 4 issues were warranty problems.

And y'all wonder why Ford is losing market share to the imports.
