10/26: "order is showing as valid, no info. available."
11/10: "maintainance date is showing as 11/3, vehicle is in production"
11/12: "scheduled date is 11/22...vehicle is built, subbed to plant"
11/15: "scheduled to be delivered, ready for ship between 11/22-11/29"
Today: "subbed to plant, scheduled date 11/22"
Is my car done and awaiting shipping or what? What the heck is "maintainance"? Subbed to plant? Why can't they just speak 10-year-old and say, "your car is built and they have it scheduled to be inspected on xx/xx and after that it will be shipped on xx/xx and the dealer will usually see it x amount of day after that give or take a few!
I've searched this site for info, but the terminology is different and I can't figure out what stage my car is actually in at this point. I have a vehicle to sell and I am trying to time it close at least.

Guy kinda sounds like he has no idea what he is talking about. Probably means your build week is 11/22 - 11/29 (same as mine...i ordered 10/08..sub to plant 10/11)
My dealer told me to expect it the 1st or second week of December. From the sounds of things, this seems to be a realisitic delivery window. We should get our stangs about the same time.

This info. is a combined effort from my dealer and the 1800 ford customer care number. Twice, the 1800 people told me my car was built...I just don't get the info. being supplied to me by both parties. At one point in the beginning of this month, the dealer said I should have it in my possesion this week or next, and was 100% certain it would be before Christmas. The call today is bugging me-"it shows subbed to plant, scheduled 11/22."

The way I see it, you've got a build date the week of 11/22. A normal ship date will be the second week following the build week. Of course this hasn't been happening.
We got a GT in today that was ordered 09/23, went thru the temp hold for the IUP, eventually got a build date the week of 11/08 and a ship date of 11/22.

That is probably the most correct. Sometimes the people on the 800# dont really know what they are looking at or what it means, so they try to translate that information to you.
Kinda like someone who took spanish for 2 years in high school trying to read a book entirely written in spanish. They get close...but somehow the message is lost in translation...
