I ordered a '06 Mustang GT 'vert in July. I knew that it would take a while to be built, so I waited.

Oct 24th it was built and "shipped", due to the dealership Nov. 6th.

It proceeded to a parking lot and sat there because there were no rail cars available to bring it down. Bad luck #1

It say for about a month and finally was actually "shipped."

It arrived at the dealership Wednesday. Wednesday also happened to be an ice storm that prevented me from picking up the car until today. Bad luck #2

I finally got it today and it was in perfect condition.

Until tonight...when the neighbor across the street from my parents backed into it! Bad luck #3

It's only a scuff and a single mark that will need to be repainted.

But...darn...I'd had the car for less than seven hours before it was hit...

And I thought having my '94 'vette hit two weeks after I got it was bad....

Son of a female dog... :bang:

I don't think luck is flowing your way at the moment. Man that's rough though, not even a full day of being "new' before something happened to it... you definitely have my sympathy

I can beat that...had the car for one hour and ran over a tire on the interstate. There was no option of breaking or swerving with all the cars around me so I had to take the tire. The sound was horrible, pulled over right away and checked out my baby with the radiator shield hanging and a nice dent in the radiator :notnice: Out of all the roadtrips it was also the first time I had seen a full trie dead center on a highway

Ouch, tough luck man, sorry to hear about your stang. I know for me, the first week i had mine, i went to turn and forgot about the one hole, and the the whole bottom of the front bumper is all scraped up. You can only notice it if you look up under the car. Sorry again to hear that.

2 1/2 hours. Picked up my Vista Blue Gt on October 18th, which is also my girlfriends birthday. After I drove the stang home, ate some dinner etc, then I went to her apartment for a get together with her friends. She lives in an apartment complex so i parked in the street. About 10 minutes after I arrive, a girl i know walks in laughing and saying "hahaha, i just hit a parked car"

Well I wasn;t laughing. She needed to say no more. Like a mother knows when her child is injured, I knew she hit my car. I asked if it was a Mustang, and she says that she thinks so. Obviously I flip out, run outside and felt like the guy who owns the corvette from the Big Lebowski after Walter hits it with a lug wrench.
However, i checked and there was only a tiny smudge on the front bumper, that I was able to wipe off with my hand. She got lucky. However, I still did express my dissatisfaction with her driving skills. The worst part was that I had to end up apologizing to her since I was yelling at her. I don;t like this girl anymore, but lucky neither does my girlfriend.

I don't see why you "had" to apologize to this woman. She hit a car and laughed about it, with no intention of notifying the owner of the damage. That's a criminal offense. I would have berated her in a severe fashion. I would not offer an apology for her own criminal behavior.

A friend of mine from my days in the car business sold a brand new Eclipse convertible to a girl.

She was rear-ended on I10 on the way home from the dealership.

Good luck and hang in there buddy, my car has been rear-ended three times, since I got it in June. The first two times it was two weeks apart, but all it required was paint. The third time some donkey named jack was not paying attention and hit the car directly behind me, causing this car to rear end me, spin and hit me on the side. The car has been in the bodyshop for 5 weeks now. On the good side, I should have it back this week, hopefully.
