I came out this morning and had a light layer of ice on my car. First real freeze here this year. And I thought that was bad.

No pics. And no snow. But it was just over 20F this morning when I went to fire up the car. She was in the garage, but it was plenty cold there! We may be getting snow later this week...

Question:
I also am faced with having to clean snow off my car
What can I use to safely remove the snow.
When it is a light powdery snow I use a leaf blower, it works well, but not on heavy snow.
What will be safe on the paint to remove the snow

I just use a snow brush and am careful not to ding the body with the handle. If there's any ice on the body, just leave it because it protects the paint from road yuckies

Uh no offense, but that sucks. I thought it's cold here at +12.
Good luck, stay warm.

Absolutely nothing. No matter what you use will leave some scratch marks in the paint. Get use to polishing the car in the spring.

For Clearing off snow I use the Snow-Brum, its a snow broom that is made out of foam, and it does a really good job and i havent seen any scratches yet because of it.
