I wrote a note to WebElectric to see if they had anything, this is their response:
No we don't, but that shouldn't be too hard. Get a relay to turn on the fogs.
Connect one side of the coil of the relay to an IGN wire, but put a switch
in line with the IGN wire. Connect the other side of the coil to the +12V
side of the parking lights.
When you start the car, the relay will come on and turn on the fogs. If you
turn on the lights, the fogs will go off. You can disable this feature but
flipping the switch off

I cannot believe I am reading this people want to turn these of when I am trying to get FORD to turn my on ( they will it if I show documentation that I am moving my and registering in CANADA )
If anyone knows how to get mine turn on (09 GT) I would appreciate it. They say they have to have tec. support to walk them through but I need the Canadian paperwork.

I looked around but have not found an answer to your question. I think it is just because, as you know, it is illegal to have your DRL disconnected. I must say though that since I drive on a 2 lane highway everyday, it sucks when some oncoming cars do not have DRL's during the day. DRL's just make it easier for me to know how much passing time I have
