What is the ERL and how does one use it? Do I need a DORA or can I use the computer order that my dealer gave me?
My dealer told me it was to be built the week of April 11 and said ETA was May 1. That sounds a little optimistic to me.

It is an interactive computer voice that you access by dialing 1-800-XXX-XXXX. (A little self-policing here, to save the moderators the trouble!). Someone will have to PM you the number, as it is not supposed to be circulated on the forum boards. Even then, you might have to do long division to figure it out. The filters won't allow the number to be published outright in any setting!

I just had my first intimate experience with ERL. Not Evil at all. She told me that as of April 19 my vehicle had been shipped by convoy. Does that mean it is on a truck? Or is there a convoy of Mustangs driving down the road to a train station?
I'm giddy.

Can anyone tell me what "shipped by convoy" means?

I means it went onto a truck, or maybe a rail car, but then I have seen people post that the ERL specifically says shipped by rail. I was shipped as of the 16th, today is the 21st, and I have my car!

Hey Matt, I just noticed your car is due to arrive April 29th. Mine is scheduled to arrive on April 30th and I'm 627 miles from Detroit. That doesn't even make sense. Why do they create such a big window for delivery? I mean, you're so close, yet the ETAs are virtually identical.

Here's a good visual of people with a build week of April 11 who haven't received their cars yet!

I know exactly how you feel. I talked to the service manager at my dealer and they said the first week of May. I am in Birmingham, AL. Salesmens said May 6-10. Go figure.

Well I had a build week of 4/11 and I've had my car now for 3 days. It arrived at the dealership on the 20th and I picked it up that night. Isn't the factory in Flatrock Michigan? Strange that I, in Dallas Texas, got mine before some of you North/Northeastern guys Anyways, hang in there, it won't be long now
