I just got the call from my dealership! My Mustang is there waiting for me! But I have to wait until after work to go pick him up. He is getting his tint right now!
This is going to be a long day at work.

I have had my Sonic Blue V6 for about 2 weeks now and it is still fun to drive. I have to try to stop myself from driving it but I can't.

Jayguy,
I didn't want to clutter up another thread w/ the same pics. My baby is here

Not great pics cause as you know, the weather has been bad. I did detail the interior today though.

Hey Oscar, I still don't have mine yet! ERL says that it's been on the rail since 4-16. That is one slow train.

I am so hoping you get your car soon. Did you get your CDC spoiler yet? Dying to see it on your car.

Mike,
I did see the other thread, great looking car! Actually, I don't know how the weather has been, I'm in Seattle. I couldn't find a dealer around here who would get me the car at all, plus one that was under MSRP, so I called home. Next weekend I'm going to be doing a double-hitter. Picking up my new Mustang, and surprising mom on Mother's day.
My brother's the only one that knows, he's just as excited as I am. He wants a Mustang too, but with a new wife and a new house, he just can't afford it.
Then I get to drive it back to Seattle. Nebraska is gonna stink, but Colorado and Utah are gonna rock! I'm taking back roads, instead of the freeways. I can hardly wait!

Since the 25th, ERL has been saying that mine shipped via rail as of the 22d. If a train leaves the Fostoria Ohio mixing center travelling east at a two miles per hour, when the heck does my car get here? Arrrrrgh! It shipped via convoy on the 19th and I've been drooling since then.

My car ist still on the train, and it has been since the 19th. Does it really take 8 days to get from Detroit to Des Moines? I'm beginning to think the trains traveling more like 2 miles a day!
I just hope it gets there before next Friday, then it won't matter how slow the train was!

Yeah Greg, I'm sure all this anxiety will just melt away. My shoulders just got a little lighter this afternoon, I found a buyer for my truck. He'll take deliver (and I'll take payment $$$ ) next week, just before I fly off to pick up my New Mustang!
I found out a little while ago that there was a problem with the first mold for the Shinoda Chin Spoiler, so I won't be getting that until after I get the car back to Seattle, that's fine. I'll probably hold off and have that and the rear ducktail painted and installed at the same time. That'll be nice. Might even do stripes then, not sure yet though. I'm still trying to figure out which color (Satin Silver? Titanium? ) to go with, and what desigh (Lemans, or one wide with two thin border stripes, or what?)
Lots to think about, and now that the truck is sold, I've got some money to spend! Yeeha!!
