Broke antenna off....!!

I got a new car cover and needed to make a hole in it for the antenna and when I was going to remove it, it turned a little bit then snapped. I attached a pic of what's left, is there a way to get it out or am I screwed into buying a whole new unit? I have satellite radio and don't listen to the radio but it looks ugly now without an antenna.... can it be drilled out?

First spray some penetrating oil or spray on it and let it set for a while, that'll help loosen it up. Then it looks like you might have enough sticking up to use a dremel tool with a cutoff wheel. Cut a notch in the top and then use a flat blade screw driver to try and remove it. Other method is to drill a hole and use a pipe nipple extractor, if you can find one small enough. I have the set in the link below, but I'm not sure if the smallest one is small enough. Good luck ...

I installed one of these on my '14 and it looks a whole lot better.

Spot on but maybe a vice grip first if you've got enough to bite into.

Or go here and on the top box, type in "Antenna" and click the search button to see how much a new one is. At least that's OEM and everything should fit like it's supposed to. Not too expensive.
