Anybody have BBR Billet antenna (or other shorty antenna)?

Like above says, anybody have the BBR Billet antenna or other shorty antenna?

Saw the 8" one on AM, but a lot of the reviews say that there is a big loss of radio clarity. UPR has a shorty, but it's in satin and I really want black.

BBR one looks perfect - black anodized, and looks nice and short.
I'm thinking that the thicker billet might make up for the lack of height and keep reception decent. Anybody using one of these?

BBR shorty here. Looks great with no loss of signal!

Doesn't give a good look at the antenna.

These are better.

The fatness doesn't improve reception. What you used to see years ago that worked is the length of the antenna wound around a none conductive core. So the over all length of the rod was short but the wire inside was long. I have not seen one like that for the Mustang. The length of the antenna is a fraction of the length of the wave one is trying to recieve. A long wave might be 12 foot avarage so the best antenna would be 6 foot and slightly less effective would be 3 foot and so on.
