best wax for new black stang?
#22
I've tried Zaino products and found them labor intensive. NXT is not long lasting if it's a DD in my climate. Remember polishes add the gloss, waxes/sealants protect it. I use Menzerna polishes and Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant on all three of my black vehicles.
Do yourself a favor and invest in a random orbital buffer. Porter Cable is the one most recommended. Then go to autopia.org and read, read, read.

Meguiar's is always a solid choice, Zaino is awesome I hear, but a little spendy for some.
Also, I use Meguiar's polish and after I apply it with my Porter Cable, it is very hard to take off. Does this mean I should use less of it, maybe try another polish?

You should be working the polish in with the PC until it just about disappears then it should come right off. Although that hard to remove Meg's is why I stopped using it. and switched to Poorboys.

Klasse
Tried many waxes and polishes. But five years ago started using Klasse AIO (all in one) and Klasse SG (sealant glaze). Nothing makes black look as rich and as deep, it also last **** near forever!
I have friends that use Zaino, but too many products for me. Just use AIO, wipe off, then SG Wipe off. Nothing easier.
For a black car which attracts swirls like flies to stink-Use the 2 bucket method. For more info go to www.autopia.org
Those are just my 2 cents

The klasse stuff can be applied by hand (inexpensive polisher better, pc7424 much better). The AIO can be used on just about everything, it will remove small imperfections (swirls and such) without endangering the clearcoat.
I usually clay polish car with AIO, come back with Klasse SG (thin coat!) two ways to use it.
1. wipe down whole car--time your finished applying its time to start removing.
2.wipe on wipe off panel at a time.
I use either one just depends on my mood.
BIG TIP mix 2tsp into spray bottle of water, during wipe off you may find it difficult to remove, use mixture quick spray and wipe-you can also use as a quick wax after wash.
wait 12-24 hours to apply another coat.
2 bucket method is biggest help to reduce swirls.
Quick note: I had a guy come up to me in the grocery parking lot and ask what I use on my car. He had a black accord and wanted to get it shiny.
So as not to appear heavy handed I told him use the Meguiars 3 step process. Its quite good for a easy to use system (durability lacking but easy to follow)
Good Luck

I'm a Zaino diehard.
I don't find it's much work at all. Sure, you have to wash and clay the car 1st, but that really should be done with any product.
I don't find it expensive either, since you use so little with each application.
To each their own though,,, That's why there are so many products out there,,, everyone has their favorite.
