Neither, the language filter didn't come up with it, but neither did I...its a quote I learned from a buddy of mine.

Reminds me of the crap service dept that I went to.
1.backed into left rear quarter panel
2.ruined black plastic molding that runs on top of door(exterior)
3.scratched clear coat when they took this moldin off
4.chipped paint by opening door into something
5.left sanding scratches under clearcoat where they repaired quarter
I will never go to this ford dealership again.i'm frightened

took my car in for warranty work (replace entire carpet due to premature wear [read 6"x 3" hole under clutch and 4"x2" hole under gas pedal])...guy (or girl) working on the passenger side has grace of a bull in a china shop...here's what s/he did:
- dropped passenger seat onto door sill while removing...chipped paint in two places.
- 4 inch scratch in clear coat between door handle and side mirror.
- scratched door panel under subwoofer housing.
- paint the inside lip of right front quarter panel and under hood after repairing outside of quarter panel (the car went back three times before this was fixed).
- remove parts before clear coating (entire car had white grainy material coating it; eventually removed...after two visits).
- replace door handle that they conveniently scratched up while replacing the passenger side door shell (the car went back three times before this was fixed).
- fix anything right the first time.
- handed me a business card "worth" a free interior/exterior wash at the dealership's car wash ... as a "little incentive" ... after i mentioned that i received my Customer Viewpoint survey for the warranty work (carpet replacement).

It is a clear violation to offer incentives to customers to complete the Customer Viewpoint surveys. I must say, the dealership has no idea what's coming.

I was talking to a guy at work and he said he's seen shops try to close hoods shut with the hood support rod up. He said they forget sometimes, thinking the car has the hood struts and will pull on the hood to slam it not noticing the rod and assuming there are struts.
The would be very plausible considering the location of my damage.

yeah, my survey on my purchase said it was a violation and to just mail but my dealer gives a free oil change if you bring it in to them to send.

If you can't trust the ford dealerships to take care of your car,who can you trust.it's a very hopeless feeling knowing that they've got you by the *****.
my dealer offered me a tank fill up to do survey with him on his computer.(I didn't care cuz it saved me over 40 bucks)

Body shop had my car for 10 days. The guy I was dealing with (service dept) kept telling me my car would be ready tomorrow...12 X.I originally bought it in for a new gas tank and to fix driver window, and paint chip.they told me 3 days tops. Long story short, they had it for 15 days.Got painted mirrors free out of the deal though.

Got her back today. Adjustment issue. I couldn't tell where they adjusted it but the bracket that I posted about, now looks like the good side.
They gave me a rental car and fix, no charge to me or an attempt to charge me. They got on it, got it done, and made me happy.
I still don't plan on letting them change my oil though.
