I was at my dealer today and he showed me a piece of paper where Ford is asking the delaerships with outstanding Mustang orders to get the buyer's signature to verify they still want it. Due mainly because "of the age of a lot of orders in the system"

Hopefully they are ramping up to start filling some of our orders and want to make sure they are building cars for customers that are still interested. :drive:

One can only hope. They've got my signature already on a $500 deposit check! Ford, please build my car.

Thats a given I think with just about every one of us. Just thought it was encouraging that there was at lease some activity concerning my order.

And whose fault is that????? Build the cars, Ford, and you won't have any "old orders" in your system!! :bang: /rant.

My dealer just called and got verbal confirmation. Course, I said yeah I still want, want it like I ordered it, and want it now. To which my dealer replied - I'll get as soon as I get it. Only thing I have going for me is his promise to get it and my promise to buy it. Don't have any money tied up in a deposit, just a good old southern handshake between the two of us.

Due to the age of the orders in the system...what a bunch of tools. No, none of your orders for 2005 Mustangs need to be filled now because everyone bought hybrid cars due to the gas shortage of 2043. But hey, the 12 people who actually received their cars sure did enjoy them. :notnice:

Quit sending questionaiires and start building cars already.
