Have about 1000 miles on mine and still no problems with it.
The car runs like a dream and has a smooth ride.
Oh, there is one problem, not enough time to drive it with work inthe way.

I haven't had anything worth mentioning. It's been the tiny things like the gas fill up problem and the Shaker CD skip issue. Nothing has quit, nothing died. Oh, one day it wouldn't start. DOAH! I left the radar detector on for 3 weeks. My fault, not the cars.

Almost two months and 1840 miles on mine & no problems. The CD player is a little sensitive but plays very well.

Speaking of quality, those 2000 numbers are out of date. According to recent ones GM has gotten there numbers better then Fords quality numbers.

After one month and one week of having my car and 2200 miles the only "problem" I've encountered was with the Shaker 500. Granted much of the skipping is on my older cds that have seen better days. Several people in the family told me to wait....first model year bugs blah blah blah, but it runs and drives like a champ! I couldn't be happier. It looks better everyday.

The biggest problem I've had has been a faulty rear end. I noticed a very loud "whine" driving home from the dealer. I actually thought it was from the tires, but not so. When I finally had the car looked at, they ordered a new rear end. The affair took two weeks. Mine is a V-6 Auto.

That is true. I found some 2002 or 2003 numbers where Chevy had improved but didn't feel like posting everything I found.

Also, keep in mind that new desing/new models typically have far more problems per 100 vehicles regardless of manufacturer. Before anyone spews crap about imports, look up the numbers for the first year of the new 7-series BMW.

Other than the CD problem (shaker 500) reported by so many others, no problems on my V6 or the GT. Dealer has ordered new Shaker 500 - said "by Friday for sure" then called Friday and told me it was on back order. Not a real problem as he left the 'old one' in the car.
