If the Shaker systems are so bad, then why aren't owners buying Deluxe models instead of Premium models... I know you get the pwr seat, but that's the only diff, right?? Just curious.

 

I bought a Deluxe Mustang. So have others that don't want shaker, i'd assume.

And yes, Bucket seats & shakers are the differences in deluxe vs premium.

 

I have a Deluxe as well. I added the Pwr Seat/Leather option. THe radio was going to be pulled right from the start, so there was no need for the Shaker. Deluxe's do not have the sub pods on the door panels so its nice and smooth. I added my old 12"sub in the back, upgraded the speakers in the doors and back. The system sounds awesome.

I would rather have the Shaker than the base stereo. You get better speakers and a 6-disc changer over what you have in the base.
