Any Dealer Willing to take an XPLAN order?

I missed a deal on an 06 a couple of weeks ago. I am looking to maybe order an 07 on Xplan. I have my PIN just need to know how hard it is to get a dealer to accommodate me? What I want is GT Deluxe in black, dark charcoal and 5spd with 3.55 rear

Shouldn't be too difficult, I got a price near x-plan even without a pin! Post where you are and maybe someone in your area could give you a dealership recommendation.

Norman Motors, Inc., in Brady, Texas will drop ship anywhere and honored X-plan on my '05 GT last summer when all the dealers in DFW wanted MSRP + $3,500. I ended up with Invoice - $50

Ask for David Dewes. Small town dealership with very nice folks.

I assume you'd drop ship it to a local dealer to me? How does that play with my dealer? Wouldn't they be miffed I didn't go through them? I guess if they refused X-Plan they'd have nothing to say.

I shop for a dealer within proximity to you. It is amazing the difference in fees that some dealers charge to perform the "courtesy delivery". It can range from $150 to $650 so I try to find the most reasonable dealer in the area.

I'm not sure how they are now though since the owner sold out to his brother (according to one of the sales managers) but they may be worth looking at.

Dont go near Midway, I asked them about it at the same time and while they didnt have any ADM, they refused x-plan and even went so far as to try and tell me that all x-plan would do is save a few dollars off of MSRP.

None of the local dealers would even talk to me for anything less than MSRP, so I ordered from Teri Temeyosa at Mossy Ford in San Diego, CA on x-plan. Not sure if they're still doing that, it's been about a year.

We first tried to courtesy deliver it to a local dealer, but I think they all quoted her some outrageous prices, and she'd rather have her folks do the PDI to their standards anyway. We found a great transport company - Coast to Coast Transport, I think, that delivered to me same day, in an enclosed transport for ONLY $600.00! That was half what we were quoted for an open air transport and they still weren't going to pick up for a week or two.

Granted I am only 6 hours away from San Diego and they were just coming off doing a bunch of SEMA transports for the Las Vegas show.

Going x-plan and transporting saved me a ton of money - b/c then I also didn't have to pay any local sales tax either. More $$$ for mods!

Went to Moses just down the street they said they would place order on Friday with a $500 deposit. ISELLFORD does that sound reasonable? $24529 I believe they told me? Only option is the 3.55 is that right price?

Go to kbb.com and build your vehicle. X plan should be about $500 below that. I had to ask around three or four dealers before I found one who would do Z plan (a little lower in price than X).

Catch is that the dealer that I ordered from has a horrible allocation, so I sat in queue for too long (also more time was due to my options). I put down a $500 deposit in December on an '06 and my '07 unit will be delivered in August. My wife says that I am like an expectant mother. It's taken 9 months, I know what I am getting...I can't wait for it to be 'born'!

Also, someone else mentioned Apple Ford in Columbia, MD. I ordered my '95 GT convertible from them when I lived in that area (also on X plan). They are great to deal with and they have a great plan for X plan buyers (they even act like they want to attract X plan people). Visit their web site for X plan buyers to see how all dealerships should be treating X plan customers. X plan customers at Apple Ford get treated to the following free for life:

Oil and Filter Changes
Tire Rotations
Car Washes
Maryland Safety Inspections
Limited Lifetime Engine Warranty
