Vehicles involved in accidents which are not insured should be towed, and either crushed or sold. If you're stupid enough to own a vehicle without insurance, them you're stupid enough to lose ownership of said vehicle should it be involved in an accident.
Problem is it doesn't prevent idiot from buying another uninsured vehicle.
BTW, real glad you're okay and soo sorry about your car. It sucks worse than taxes.

So Sorry to see this...at least everyone walked away...sadly I bet illegal, and shes done split the area.
Hope they give you a 'replacement cost' type settlement. after seeing this, I might want to rethink my insurance coverage- some wont cover depreciation type stuff, so if depreciation about what your down payment was, they pay off the bank note and you get nothin...between the lawyers, the illegals and our brilliant government, there aint much hope out there for an honest working guy. sure, sell the missle guidance system to china, invite mideast moneymen to take over our already vulnerable ports, and while we're at it, lets invite all the illegals in for free health care, and require bilingual packaging to help them out...just hit the working guys up for some more money...heck Ive had full coverage, no claims for 20 some odd years, yet guarantee if something like this happens to me, I'll see a rate hike(yes illegals even in Ohio- more than you'd imagine). it pisses me off so bad that you GOTTA pass echeck for plates, yet just scratch an 'X' on a piece of paper saying 'i promise' to keep insurance...our government appears to belong to anyone but us...I gotta bet the 1 in 12 lawyer population in DC(just read that fact) dont leave room for many illegals...our government might as well be in a bubble, insulated from the crap they insist is good and smart for the rest of us.

Yeah, Justin, not going to need that body guy any more. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do. Kinda thinking of buying an older 5.0 for now, then ordering an '07. Once the '07's here, I might get a Cobra kit and transfer parts from the 5.0. Or if might just ride my motorcycle now, buy back the 05, and use it's parts on the kit car. Hmm. We'll see what they give me for compensation.
I've only been here 8 months, and I'm already thinking about moving. Unfortunately, there seem to be bad drivers everywhere. Oh well.
I just hope no one else has to go through this crud.
