Agent 47 Mirrior issue

So today I discovered that the mirror housing on my passenger side mirror is loose on the bottom where it connects to the stem. The mounting to the car itself is fine and is on tight. I'm wondering what the best way to fix this would be. I thought shoving some superglue inbetween the connections might help but im not sure, anyone have any ideas?

Bummer. I wonder if somebody hit it or it just happened on its own.

I'd probably remove it and then try to fix it on the work bench with some glue or something.

I just took the lense off, it apears to be a fracture in the molding near where it connects, it hasnt gone all the way through the plasic but its pretty big, i put some superglue over it for a temporary fix. Ill probably call my body shop and see if they can fix it for cheap.
