BFG KDWS are noisy.

Took the "winter" 17's & PZeros off and put the polished 18's back on the CS yesterday. 80 degrees and windows rolled down = tire noise!!

Wow, never noticed it before. The Pirellis are so much quieter.

Need louder exhaust!

I started to notice a lot of noise from my KDWs too. I had them for a good 20+K miles and didn't have a problem. It started a few thousand miles ago, but I don't want to change them yet, I still have another 5-6K miles left on them. I just turn the radio on and that's it.

I have the same tires also, when they were put on I noticed the noise right away, probably should have gone back to the tire shop a day or two later and gotten something else, but I figured I would get adjusted to it. I now have a pair of Nitto drag radials on the back and the car is much quieter. When the KDW's on the front wear out, that's it for them, along with the pair on my spare wheels. I'll look for something else at that point.

yeah, these are relatively noisy tires. i got them mainly because it seemed to be the best ones the tire rack sold that fit my car.

at least they do handle great, the tread pattern looks aggressive, and i like that it has a rim protector for "just in case"
