It looks like there could be some supply issues with the str.t also. Either that or the tirerack just got a major sales spike. I was originally told mine would ship on the 15th.

So I've been told June now. Wonder if the volcano is limiting their ability to ship or get parts? Assuming this stuff comes from Holland.

I ordered a set of Koni Sport shocks/struts from Sam on Monday. He checked the Koni warehouse, rears were in stock (but only a couple of pair) and should ship out this week, fronts are on Nationwide backorder until August.

It was the fronts that were backordered (out of production) before - for what almost a year??? What a loser company - I don't care how good their product is, if they can't produce them they can't warranty them either.

Fine, don't get them then. I've had them on three cars in the past, and will continue to use them on my cars, it will be worth the wait. Before it was a manufacturing/supplier issue, now, they just ran out of stock in the US due to their sale.

The warranty issue you bring up is not an issue. They can repair/rebuild pretty much anything at their facility in Kentucky.

Hey I've been a Koni head for decades back to my dirt bike days.

But I won't tolerate any manufacturer that has their head so far up their butt they can't think their way out. Two years in a row to boot!

Yeah they apparently have some major supply chain issues. I mean the STR has been on backorder for months, They should be able to start shipping tons of them in weeks not months. I called tirerack and told them to ship the rears separate so that I wouldn't get stuck again with them being out of stock. Probably should have bought from Sam because it sounds like he wouldn't try to hold an item like that. The rep at tirerack has been very responsive though.

I'm just glad I got my STR.Ts when I did. Couldn't be happier with them.

Well the rears arrived today and the fronts have shipped. I ordered them back at the end of March. So far good service from Tirerack and not the length of time that I was anticipating based on their estimations.
