Wow, that's pure sex!

I haven't looked into it, but could you connect a DVD-ROM to it? If that's the case, then a Carputer doesn't make sense anymore (as far as pricing). I'm really amazed at how well it looks and works for the car.

Did you notice the reset button, hazard light switch, etc. are missing. Might need those. Plus it would be a major PITA just to play music, much less anything else.

Yeah, he posted his video over on MF, so I was checking it out there. It's a pretty cool mod, but as mentioned, losing the Info, Reset, Hazard, etc. creates another challenge.

That is so cool. You could always relocate the buttons, but the dash would become cluttered after that IMO.

The 2010 has all those buttons relocated, is that really a challenge?

He relocated the buttons to the glovebox.

As far as changing songs, it's really not any different than any other iPod touchscreen interface. Better, actually.

Awesome idea and execution.

Love it. But I'd go with something more "dash friendly". Besides, what does it really sound like? How does it interface with the factory speakers?

Inquiring minds want to know!
