Gt500 and bullitt are a go for 2009 along with the califorina special

GT500KR is also continuing into 2009!!! An additional 571 for the USA and 175 more for Canada and the rest of the world.

 

So much for exclusivity, eh?

 

Does that make the 1000 total?

Seems they won't be building the 1000 2008s

Only 1, Brilliant Silver replaces Silver. No word on Grabber Blue (as was rumored).

 

1000 KR's for 2008, 571 more KR's in 2009 (for the USA), for a total of 1,571 KR's. This is magically the number of original GT500KR's built back in the late '60's. 175 more are being built in 2009 for export (Canada, Europe, etc.).

 

How bout Ford pulls there head out and eliminates the cars that are practically the same as everything else and just make one thats inbetween the gt and the gt500..And no i dont mean a shelby that has 19 more hp and $2650 worth of add-ons for a mere $11k at the dealer.

No offense to anyone, but the bullitt is ugly. sure it has some good features, but give it a better looking exterior. My Opinion...

 

Colby, the Bullitt looks the way it does, because its a tribute car to the car in the movie. No emblems, no fog lights, no lettering. Thats why it was made that way. If you dressed it up too much, then the whole "tribute" idea is lost. I'm assuming you saw the movie a few times?

Ya I have, and I do understand that. I'm not taking anything away from the car, I'm just saying its not a jaw dropper in looks in my opinion. To each there own. its still a mustang though, and I'm always a fan of that.

If the Bullitt looked different on the exterior it wouldn't be a Bullitt.

Obviously it's not for everyone, just as a CS/GT isn't for everyone
