Is it possible the mold came from the typical water leak in the front passenger compartment? Fabreeze does wonders for those longer lasting odors. Spraying the underside of the seat foam before installing has helped on cars I have cleaned.

I know, I don't disagree, but $150 is just a lot more than I'd like to dump into it if I don't have to do so. I decided I'm going to try and clean it myself. One of my detailers at work gave me a bottle of some stuff he said will really clean out where the mold was really well. Then told me to take some home made carpet cleaner to the rest of it.

So Thursday I will have this

+

This

And I'll just take it to the local car wash that my wife washes her car at and use the pressure washer hose there.

I don't think so based on where the water was. I'm drawing the conclusion that she left the passenger side window down during a big rainstorm based on the fact that A) there was little to no water on the driver's side. B) The rear seat on the driver's side was just dirty, but the rear seat on the passenger's side was covered in mildew C) The carpet was soaked as far back as behind the passengers seat and the amounts of water were a lot larger than I could see coming from a small leak in the front compartment.

Thanks for the Febreze idea, I'll find out if the odor is gone on Thursday. Didn't get a chance to work on it yesterday cause my wife took me to go drive a Lamborghini a few laps around an auto X course for my birthday yesterday.

There is plenty of places to get an entire interior. Take offs, salvage yards, Ebay to name a few. Would not cost much and you could have a new interior.

Unfortunately none of the salvage yards around here have S197 stangs. What do you consider "not cost much" though, because a carpet alone is $150-$200

This isn't me driving, I did much worse than this guy. My wife took a video of me, unfortunately she took it sideways so I need to edit it when I get home.

Looking goofy as **** after I got out cause I was pretty happy.
