My check engine light came on with about 8600 miles on the odo. I took it in today to get looked over and apparantly there are some butterfly valves between the intake and the heads that tend to stick open/closed causing irregularities in the air flow. New intake and throttle body will arrive tomorrow as well as my new gas tank. I mentioned the TSB for the fuel tank and said mine was one of the ones covered.

 

Check engine light was on in my 05 Mustang GT. Invoice reads"found sticking IMRC, replaced entire intake manifold assembly." Light has not come on again. It is probably my imagination, but the engine seems louder now when I am in the car.(as opposed to being outside the car!)
