Amy, I loved the Tungsten on the GT at the Cleveland Auto last year, how does it look in person on these production models?
Which do you like better - Tungsten or Satin Silver?
I am having a hard time picking which color Mustang to get, almost all the colors look good on this car!

All hail the return of AmyV6! Always there when you need her!
I was actually hoping the fanblades came finished as shown in the pictures. Phew! But I really wish they would've stuck 245's on them...
I have a feeling that full polished fanblades will be made available - maybe next year? They're just not for me 'n' my Tungsten GT!

I don't like the Tungsten pictures as much as the one I saw on the show car. I placed an order for a 06 Tungsten Mustang GT, but I am starting to rethink my choice of color. Does anyone else feel the same way? I also, like the sonic blue better because it looks like a brighter color.

Is anyone else disappointed that the Bullets and the Tungsten Gray are too close a match???
Yep, I'm still in love with the Tungsten Gray. I like Bullets, too, but not the stock ones. Dang wouldn't you know it there is no contrast/little contrast! If I don't go with the 17" machined (nice contrast w/ Tungsten) then I would sell the stock Bullets and get a set of silver (painted, do not go for chrome.)

Now i'm totally confused..this rim thing is making me crazy..i'm praying that they are totally polished(sorry for those of you who don't like them, jmo)i bet when ford posts the pics that we still won't be sure whether they'll be polished or bright machined or whatever...if i'm gonna pay 800 to upgrade i wanna be darn sure!!

AWESOME PICTURES!!!! i had originally factory ordered my o6 gt last week in tungsten but after seeing these pictures i switched my order to a Vista Blue GT instead. i have to admit that i was a little disappointed with the tungsten...i thought it would be darker.
the vista blue made me think"WOW" and the tungsten just didn't give me that same feeling of anticipation.
anyhow, thanks for the photos as they influenced my factory order

Hi everyone. This is my first post on this forum. I was looking at some Downriver Cruise photos from the AAI stand posted on Blue Oval News. These pics may do the Tungsten a little more justice...
Blue Oval News
I'm eagerly anticipating my '06 Tungsten GT (priority 10) like many others on here. I have also seen the 'fanblades' in person - I'm sticking with them!

Venom800, I am thinking the same thing. The Tungsten on these production cars doesn't look as bright or metallic as the Mustang GT show car. Thats why I wanted some feedback from Amy.
I don't want a dull gray car. I would rather go with the much lighter Satin Silver.
Right now, I like 4 colors all the same, so its going to be hard for me to pick when the time is right. I will have to see them all in person.

I actually really like the fanblades the way they are in these pics - not overly bright - too highly poilshed or chrome is a bit much for me.
Great pics Amy!
(and great input on the Interceptor article - you lucky devil.... )

Nice pix, Amy!
Can't wait to see these new colors in person. I'm pretty sure the Vista Blue will have less of a purple cast to it than the Sonic. And that Tungsten is less apt to washout in direct sunlight than Satin. I had a silver Mustang once and it was a pain to get good pix of it. I had to take pix in the morning or late afternoon. Any other time and the finish would look white.
