06 Vista Blue, Black GT and Tungsten Pony *PICS*

Well, yesterday was the Downriver Cruise here in the south eastern Detroit area.
AAI was one of the main sponsers for this years cruise, they were last year too in this now 6th annual cruising event.
Snag some pics of some new pre-production 06's. They were also driving them around all day.
It was a record heat day in Michigan yesterday... some areas as high as 104 degrees  and with the humidity we have here :worship:
I was at the cruise for a very short period during the daytime and headed back out a lil later when it cold down. It was just insanely HOT when I took these pics. I didn't take any other pics that day.. it was just too uncomfortable to be carrying around a camera.

hey amy - nice job!! one question, did you happen to see what the tire size was on the fanblades? if not, do you have higher resolution versions of the close up shots that you could email me - I can try and decipher the size from them. if now, email me at rondosa @ hotmail.com
thanks again!
thanks again!

Amy,
Nice job! I love the Tungsten color and 18" wheels. Despite the heat, I heard this was a nice cruise because you can actually cruise...

This year was kinda slow compared to last year. I think it was partly because of the heat and the 40% chance of rain.. which we NEVER got
A couple of the AAI employees recognized me

Great pics Amy! That new grille is starting to grow on me too, I like it more every time I see it. And that blue is sweet. Aaaand I actually like the fanblades a lot, especially so for the chrome/polished combo, it really sets out the edges nicely.

Very nice pictures Amy and thanks for posting. I can't see anything different about the GT other than the fanblades. If a person buys an 06 GT and changes out the wheels nobody would even know it was a 06. Strange that they didn't change something on the exterior to make it different . JMO~

Those fanblades don't have chrome on them. The lips and rims are either machined or polished with the inserts being painted silver. I personally am very disappointed that the entire wheel is not polished. Oh well, at least I won't have to spend the money on buying them now.

Awhile back ago... I remember seeing a WB GT that had the new fan blade rims and the whole thing appeared to be chromed out. They were extremely shiney and looked very nice. Not sure if they were a tester pair.. or they were just really clean rims.
