06 Vista Blue, Black GT and Tungsten Pony *PICS*

Woohoo! Tungsten w/ Pony Package! I've been waiting to see a "real" pic of that combo since I heard about the '06 options and colours!
Hmm.. bpmurr and Bingo, I know what you're saying though. I have to admit, Tungsten is not jumping out at me in those pics. Although to me, it almost looks more like Satin Silver. I'm hoping it's just the lighting that day or something.
Amy, any thoughts on that? How did the Tungsten look in person compared to Satin and Mineral? And as everyone else has already said before me, great shots!!!

Can anybody explain why the GT gets PLASTIC foglamps and the V6 Pony package gets chrome or polished alluminum or whatever that is? I think the V6 Pony grille almost looks more classy than the GT's?

Has anyone heard if there will be more than one version of the fanblades? I know I have a '98 and there were two versions of the upgrade 17" wheel, a competely machined face and a completely silver painted. I am praying that is the case here. Just not a fan of the silver inserts on the fanblades.

Personally... I really liked it. I've liked it since seeing the original one at the NAIAS a few years back.
Natural lighting and high glare show lighting is ALWAYS going to make the object appear differently.
I used to really like Mineral Grey.. which is a warm grey color, has red in it.... but then when the Dark Shadow grey came out.. I really enjoyed that one too.. because it's a cool grey color, has blue in it and my eye goes towards colors with a cool tone to them.
I think Tungsten is a perfect inbetween color. There's a good blend of both red and blue in it.
And in person.. it looks nothing like Satin Silver... nor does it look like Mineral Grey.
Keep in mind too... not only the lighting situations.. but also peoples computer screens. Some are not calibrated to show the true hues.

nice pics. Glad I got my sonic, I am not lovin the Vista blue. Then again, pics don't do sonic justice so Vista may look better in person.

I've attached a comparison photo since I had a similar shot of mine, amy hope you dont mind. Gives a basic comparision. I know lighting etc was different so its not a true comparison, would have been nice if they had a sonic next to it for us to see.

Did everyone not notice the Ranger in the third pic of what Amy posted? Its Sonic blue and sitting right next to the Vista Blue Mustang in the pic!!! They're both nice colors!!! And that pic is a good comparison of the 2. John

What happened to the tungsten pics on the home page? I was trying to find the car show pics again and they are gone. So are the comparison color pics. I have to admit after seeing the pics of the tungsten I'm wondering if the color is going to live up to it's reputation. Time will tell. In any case I've already ordered the tungsten. I'm thinking some red stripes will livin up the color combination.

I honestly cannot tell the difference between the sonic and the vista. I dont' understand how the Vista can have more metallic flake in it but look flatter than the Sonic.
I probably would have been just as happy with the Vista as I am with the Sonic though.
