Way to go, nice pics. The pony grille is growing on me too, I wonder if it'll fit on a GT.

Tthat vista looks good, in another thread we were talking about using the vista as ghost stripes, that is looking like possibility. On the fanblades i'll probably paint the silver sonic blue.

Amy, great job as usual.

The vista blue looks really good IMO. You can really see the flake in the closeup shot. While I love my sonic blue, I would have no regrets if I had waited for vista.

Can you clarify if the fanblades are polished or painted?

Galaxie -- I can't clarify either way. Haha I just hurried up and snapped the pics. It was waaaaaaaaaay too hot out.

Vista looks good...glad i waited for the 2006.

It would be interesting to see Vista and Sonic stangs, side-by-side.

The picture of the tungsten Pony's front end really shows just how little clearance there is over those concrete parking stops. A good warning for anyone thinking of lowering their stang...

Thanks for the great pics Amy.

Is it just me or do the fanblades look more 2D than the ones we have seen until this point (similar to how the 17" Bullitts are more 2D than the ones found on the SN-95's)? It may just be because of the conflicting finishes on them, but it seems the 5 "spokes" seem to curve in less in the middle than the all chrome ones we have seen up to now.

Maybe I am just seeing things.

Looks like it might be the old bait and switch again. :notnice: There're still nice, but I like the entire wheel polish look alot better.

nice pics. Glad I got my sonic, I am not lovin the Vista blue. Then again, pics don't do sonic justice so Vista may look better in person.

Thanks for the pic's Amy ,I can see that they are using semi sticky weights insead of the hammer on weights ...about time And I belive you are right Amy there was a test mule with a set of high polished rims but if i recall they said that there was alot of blems/discoloration in the casting so there would be a lot of scrap and I would guess that this would be passed on ,with painted inserts less scrap but I was hopeing that it would be in dark charcoal metallic like this test rim here.
