06 Order

I am one who ordered from 2 dealers. The second dealer promised me the car within 60 days. The first said good luck until Dec. with 6 orders in front of me. I got friendly with the person who actually calls Ford to order the cars. I dont know her title. She said she is going to try to do something for me. On 8/22/05 I ordered Tungsten then I changed my mind on 08/29/05 and called her to change to Vista Blue. My original order was Priority 10. When I got the new DORA it was Priority 02. She called today 09/02/05 and she said she had a VIN# for me. I called the robot lady and it is serialized. Should I be really happy? How long now from this point should I have my 6th Mustang.

Sounds like you should be real happy! I ordered mine last week and the dealer just called to tell me he got it scheduled today. Whether I just got luck of the draw or they pulled strings (like they told me), it really doesn't matter.
Why did you change colors? I saw both today next to each other. They both were great, but I'm happy I ordered tungsten.
ANy chance you could email me the erl number?

Awesome, dude...did you ever decide on the interior color? I cancelled my tungsten order and bought one off the lot...I got black leather and I'm actually quite glad. Like my friend said, any car is going to get hot in Texas, the color of the interior won't make a difference.

Scott, it looks like you did get treated well. If I understand correctly, the regional Ford rep is the one who can put an 01 or 02 priority on a car; the best the dealer can place is a 10. If that is the case, they did indeed pull a string for you! Congrats and welcome to the "Mustang Waiting Room". Mine should be in my hands in about a week!
