05 Stang Emission Issues

I ordered my car on the 2nd day possible. I checked with my dealer today on a build and delivery date. He indicated that there is an issue with CA emissions which also apply to cars destined for delivery to NY. Does you know what is going on? What's the issue and the delay?

I think he is BSing you. I haven't heard of that. The Mustang comes with the emmissions control that passes it in California, which has one of the most strict standards in the country.

Yeah, if there is a hint of a problem, I am sure BON would have heard that from an alleged sources and blown it out of proportion.

I am pretty sure that the '05 was certified in all 50-states. They did have an order code for california emissions but that was changed.
