I figured you guys were taking a lot of heat from people saying that . Well, this thread only has meaning WITHOUT pics! Talk about your experience when you first saw it! Talk about anything...but the fuzz will stay off your back, since they knew what they were getting into when they clicked on the topic in the first place.

As for me, I've only seen a preproduction model, but I remember being apprehensive about the car in the back of my mind before I saw it. I wondered if maybe just the camera angles I had seen on here previously would betray me, and that I wouldn't end up liking it when I saw it in person.

Boy, was I wrong.

Enough about me....post away!

I followed one for 50 miles without a camera, but was on my cell phone telling a friend what it looked like.. and he typed all of it up on the internet for me. Hahaha.

Almost made it down all the way to the Michigan welcoming center. The lady driver (who I later met up with when I did have my camera, the time she yelled at me and I have it on tape) was flooring the car so hard. She was doing some crazy stuff in it and cut off a semi truck.

I saw one in my dreams. I have a photographic memory, but don't have the USB2.0 cable to transfer it to my computer. It was a Sonic Blue GT named Sammy Stang and he talked to me!!!

....Ok take me away to the funny farm......I have got a bad case of Mustang on the brain.

Good idea for a topic, Steve! I just saw one on Wednesday on a truck on the Kansas Turnpike, about 15 miles north of Wichita, at one of the rest stops. It was the only 'stang on the truck, sharing it with a silver T-bird and some trucks. It was a WB V6 with spoiler. No stripe. There were no spinners, but I imagine they'd be in the trunk with the antenna and floor mats. This was my first real-life sighting, and I was jumping for joy I wish it had been a GT, though!

Im not in town, but both my mom and a good friend saw the same one. Its the one from lamarque ford down here in Louisiana. Its a Black GT and my mom was right behind it and said it was loud as all get out, and the guy got on it. . My friend had it fly by him going the opposite way on the highway.

*** Both said they heard it, before they saw it! ***

i think thats cool. anyways, i think it may be Al Copeland's. He's a big resturant guy, owns a few lambos and gets everything first.

ok, I'm posting here because I planned on getting pics, but my husband had the camera & they drove the car off to be cleaned up before I could get any. My dealer got in 2 today. One was spoken for, mineral grey, red sport seats, auto. The other ,I went back this afternoon & got to sit in it. I played with the mycolor, checked out the seats turned up the shaker1000 stereo, but didn't get to drive it! My salesperson was going to let me ,but the head guy was wanting to get it cleaned up AGAIN & put it out front(as if no one is going to stop in & ask to drive it! )It is definitely even MORE impressive in person. Sounded good, also.

Wow...today caught 2 of them.

Saw a redfire v6 with the sport package...looked nice.

Also saw a legend lime GT...very cool color. I wouldn't get it myself, but it wasn't bad.

I really wasen't impressed with what was coming across in photos and on the computer screen. I've owned a 66 fastback, 70 Mach1, 84 Capri, 85 GT and currently a 1996 Cobra, But....

Saw and sat in a "silver" 05 auto GT last night at a local dealership and....

I'm impressed.

Now lower that hiney end some and get some more tire on it and it will be close to perfect.
