Congratulations. You may want to check this thread. It pretty much covers the process. Also The Scoop sticky thread.

Hello,

I'm a long time reader, first time poster:

Congrats on your order,

Orders get sent to AAI from Ford in blend sequence, meaning Ford blends the various models together in a sequence that will allow the plant to get a mix of vehicles that will not violate the plants build constraints. Rest assured, your car will not be built until after the Sept. 7th Job 1 date. Remember, AAI also builds a Mazda product, so chances are, we'll all be waiting awhile. The plant will add the second shift on Sept. 7th also, so that hopefully will help speed the process.

Unfortunately, I'll be waiting longer. I'm waiting for a vert.

Hope this info will help clear the air for "what happens after I place my order".

Wow, that's a pretty technical answer. May I ask where you work or how you know such info? Thanks.
