What is the most economical way to gain power.

I have a stock 4.6 in my 2000 gt, I dont have a lot to spend at the moment but would like to gain a little power, I am looking at underdrive pulleys, throttle intake, cold air intake, and the shaker system, but I am not sure what would be the best. Long term I know a twin turbo or supercharger would be ideal, but I was also wondering if I would be better off saving for a bigger enginge alltogether. what I really would like to know is what I should do to the car step by step, what to invest in first, and slowly build her up into a mean machine.

Dont worry about getting a bigger motor. You can make good power on the motor you have (they love boost). However, right now, best bang for you buck would be a full exhaust system from headers back. Longtubes, o/r x-pipe, and a good set of mufflers (recommend magnaflow, they give you some of the best power gains of many of the aftermarket mufflers). I would say you could gain upwards of 50hp or so from that. I may be being a little generous, but that would show higher gains then the bolt ons you listed.

Here is an affordable option that will provide 20-25 RWHP or the Steeda Power Pak Stage 1 14-17 RWHP or the real deal stage 3 which will get you upto 40 RWHP.
The Steeda Power Pak-http://www.steeda.com/store/steeda-p...d-mustang.html

It all depends on your preference. Do you want to plug and play now or do you want to wait? Remember when adding all that power with a supercharger you are going to want to upgrade other aspects of the car to keep the wheels planted.

This kit above is a great option and you will definitely not be disappointed. Let me know if you have any questions? Just the CAI alone will give you an extra 7-10 HP.

PM if you have any questions or additional support.

Thanks

TJ
