That's what I've heard. I have an off road x pipe and when I run the car on I just smell gas burning is that normal?

 

Yes.

 

Will a tuner fix that?

 

No. Cats are what burn off the extra fuel coming out of an engine. You remove the cats and you gain that smell.

I have a Diablosport Predator tuner. Check it out online. There are many parameters that can be altered and comes with at least one performance tune (depending what model car you have).
