Trans/clutch problems

Trans/clutch problems
I have an 01 cobra conv. Today i was driving to the store, just granny driving because it was raining and cops were everywhere(i dont beat on my car often either) but just driving i noticed shifting from 2nd to 3rd i felt a little grind then 3rd to 4th. I thought i was just pressing in the clutch all the way, ive been half asleep for the past few weeks(rough at work). Then it started happening more often, now it does it just about all the time when i up shift, not really when i down shift. so i was driving around just to get a feel of what was going on(not going past 40). Now it happens whenever i press in the clutch and try to up shift also when im in gear and press in the clutch. i think it also did it when i was driving and put it in neutral pressed the clutch and revved it a little. The clutch isnt that old, but my guess is that the clutch is burned out or the flywheel may be bad. But im going to be pretty upset if its my trans. Any ideas? Synchros? Bent shift fork?
Thanks
Thanks

Look at the shift fork where the clutch cable connects and pull on the cable. If you can easily move it then its stretched out and needs to be replaced. More then likely, that's what it is.

My guess is the clutch cable too. I don't have any trouble getting it out of gear. I'll go check the cable today. Thank you for the help. I'll write back if it isn't the cable

Well I replaced the clutch cable, drained and filled the trans with royal purple, tightened the motor and trans mounts. And its still doing it. So my next guess has to be a bad throw out bearing, oily clutch plate or bad clutch fork. Any ideas?

Check all 3 since you have to drop the trans to do it. Possibly could be all of that. The fork seems like the next step to check. I've also had that happen after I blew the trans and didn't notice until I put the new trans in

Well with the trans out might as well replace it. I didn't want to but With the trans coming out, might as well do it sooner than later. But if none of that fixes it, then what? Synchros?
