The Plunge, Supercharger time.

I honestly think AFBLUE needs to get someone from SCT (KenB at modular depot or Cobra Killer at Modularfordpowerhouse.com) get ahold of his car for a tune. I still think his numbers are low. Plus they can turn the cooling fans on sooner and keep the car cooler under all conditions.
An intercooler or Vortech Aftercooler would help tremendously regardless.

According to advertised hp gains I think it's needing some help also. I want to run about 8psi with my current mods (and add the x-pipe w/cats) and get to 300hp at the wheels. Everything I've read and heard from others makes it sound like it's possible without tearing the engine apart. I got the new MM&FF today and it just happens to have a large story on superchargers. Time to get educated.

See http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/produc...mustang_gt.html
Here is the cut and paste from that web page
Supercharging System with V-2 SQ for 1996-1997 4.6 Mustang GT
Adds 75 horsepower
Adds 80 ft/lbs of torque
6-8 PSIG
Includes SQ-Trim supercharger
Satin (010SQ) or Polish (018SQ) finish
Why buy a Vortech Supercharging System?
I could spend and get the intercooler but I don't want to put any more money into this car as it will take away money for a 06 Mustang.
