i no that this example car doesnt matter, but even if its a POS, it is an example of stupidity,
my brother in-laws 4 door 02 saturn in good shape was at a friendlys when aa white suv backed out and rubbed it all the way out, and then a 2 door car at the mall slammed a door all the way across the side of it, theirfore he has white paint and scuffs all the way down the side of it, (he got rid of it for a 00 Mustang)

Mines a formal fleet rental... ...and it doesnt have that crap! Course, I have no clue if a previous owner took it off. But I've owned it since 1998... ...and dont notice anything different in the paint, so I just figure it didnt come with it... ...came with red interior though... ...and infact, all the vehicles with red interior Ive seen, never had those guards

They would not help you... ...youd have ugly dents and dings AND an ugly non functional door gaurd. All of my dings are no where where that guard would go... ...all those careless self absorbed retards drive huge SUVs and trucks... ...Their doors hit you at a higher level
